More J Tree Camping Pics

Here are some more good photos from our friends Jen and Andy who invited us on the trip and revealed a place in the park we had never camped before: Indian Cove. As you can see from the photos, there were amazing rock formations. It was great to spend time with Jen, Andy and meet Jenni. Elliott had a good time taking mini treks with Andy and playing peekaboo around the tent with him. Took a fun hike too.

Elliott's first birthday party

If you have any photos, please email us some too. We didn't get enough photos of everybody at the party. Sorry if we missed you, but we want your pictures too!!

Thanks to everybody! Elliott had a terrific time!

For those about to rock... E salutes you

Here's Elliott passionately rocking out to some rockin' tunes:

Actually, he just blinked for that photo. Whenever an airplane or helicopter passes by, he points to the sky to let us know it's there.

Our trip to the mountains was super fun. Elliott's a hiker for sure. He loved the great outdoors.

A few more SD pics

Elliott had a special interest in Auntie Bets and her shiny
gold necklace. He also liked how she carried him around
outside and sang to him while his mom enjoyed her
Mexican food.

Having a rally cap staredown with cuz Andy.
E: So you're the dude who dares to share my Birthday, eh?

San Diego Slideshow

Finally! I'm sorry I'm such a bad blogger. Hopefully this works... Through the magic of the internets!!!

Jerpops is Fascinating!

Not sure what Elliott liked more: Jerpop's stache or his auctioners "Sold American" routine. Also, there are lots more SD pics coming. Dex and I will do a slide show soon with the rest, but here's a little taste for now.

Having a good time with Grandmimi!

Elliott really enjoyed his recent trip to San Diego! He loved getting reacquainted with so many of his family members. Watching him laugh and play with his Grandmimi was definitely one of the highlights of the trip for me. What an amazing Great-Grandma Mimi is!

Budding Musician?

Our neighbors recently gave Elliott some of their daughter's old instruments to play with.
He got this xylophone and a little drum with a handle that looks like a lollipop. Both are big hits with him. At first he just studied the sticks, then was super delighted when he discovered he could make noise with them.

Motorboat noises

Elliott's really close to crawling, but before he gets there, he's trying to perfect his motorboat noises so that we'll be able to hear him coming and going.

Sooooo California

Elliott loved his San Diego trip. This was taken before the trip, but it proves that he's a Southern California beach kinda kid anyway.

Picnic delightfulness

Elliott and I like to wrassle around. I usually win, but Jess snapped a photo just as he was (illegally) kicking me in the face.

Tummy exposure.

When I was in the second grade, I used to wear t-shirts like that. I was in a mixed language class and everybody listened to Menudo and on hot days, it seemed to make sense to tie my shirt up to expose some tummy. I told Elliott about those days and the next thing I know, he was pulling his shirt through his collar.
