Budding Musician?

Our neighbors recently gave Elliott some of their daughter's old instruments to play with.
He got this xylophone and a little drum with a handle that looks like a lollipop. Both are big hits with him. At first he just studied the sticks, then was super delighted when he discovered he could make noise with them.

Motorboat noises

Elliott's really close to crawling, but before he gets there, he's trying to perfect his motorboat noises so that we'll be able to hear him coming and going.

Sooooo California

Elliott loved his San Diego trip. This was taken before the trip, but it proves that he's a Southern California beach kinda kid anyway.

Picnic delightfulness

Elliott and I like to wrassle around. I usually win, but Jess snapped a photo just as he was (illegally) kicking me in the face.

Tummy exposure.

When I was in the second grade, I used to wear t-shirts like that. I was in a mixed language class and everybody listened to Menudo and on hot days, it seemed to make sense to tie my shirt up to expose some tummy. I told Elliott about those days and the next thing I know, he was pulling his shirt through his collar.

Adventures in eating

Today, Elliott turned 6 months old!! To celebrate, he had some rice cereal and breast milk. This weekend... BANANAS!!!

Oh, Hey There!

In the middle of rolling around and talking, Elliott will sometimes look up and give us the cutest of smiles. Like he's saying, "Oh, hey, just checking in."
